**Rojin Sharafi (b. 1995, Iran)** lives and works as a sound artist, composer and sound engineer in Vienna. As far as her musical work is concerned, the winner of the Austrian Female Composer Competition 2018 knows no fear of contact, drawing from many sources, from noise, folk, ambient and metal to contemporary music. In 2019, her solo debut Urns Waiting To Be Fed was released on the Zabte Sote label. Sharafi studies composition at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna, where she is also completing her Tonmeister:innen training and is intensively involved with live electronics and computer music. In addition, she shows a keen interest in film and theatre in order to combine music and other artistic media in "interdisciplinary dialogues".
