The holy trinity of Noise WumsWums Drone comes to the Cold Heaven of STWST48x9. The two internationally active and successful drumers Bernhard Breuer and Didi Kern meet the audio and drone god Alex Jöchtl.
Didi Kern is known mainly as an accurate drummer of combos like Bulbul, Fuckhead, broken.heart.collector and Glutamat. But he has also made a name for himself in the noisy corner of improv and free jazz, especially with keyboard wizard Philipp Quehenberger (with whom he plays for Franz West, among others). He is one of the few musicians who can easily hold his own with international and can even heat up musical perpetrators of violence like Peter Brötzmann, Weasel Walter, Mats Gustafsson and Ken Vandermark with his sticks.
Bernhard Breuer comes from Ottensheim and has made a name for himself as a drummer in various formations: he plays with Bernhard Hammer and Jakob Schneidewind in the internationally successful minimal techno band Elektro Guzzi, in more experimental formations such as Metalycee and Tumido. Together with Steven Hess, he is involved in the Innode project initiated by Stefan Németh. In 2021 Breuer released his first solo record Black Pulse.
Audiobomber's speciality is drones & darknoise from the unexplored depths below the Mariana Trench.
