Temporary Film Department STWST
Shooting Slot Feminist STWST Film

Open slot, invitation to participate
Workshop Space
Sat, 9 Sept, 13:00 - 17:00

Currently, the Stadtwerkstatt is working on a film project about STWST from a feminist perspective. There has already been extensive research, interviews, preliminary talks, test shoots - and of course there is already a shooting concept, shooting schedule, film crew and so on.

In order to be able to present the STWST as the larger collective, or as the living room of the city, which it was (and is) for decades, we are now inviting feminists who were and are active in the STWST at all times of its existence - and who feel connected to the house because of their presence, participation, mindset or for other reasons. Or have found the STWST formative over a long or even short period of time - or hopefully have shaped it in the opposite direction.

The temporary film department of the Stadtwerkstatt has of course already issued invitations, will continue to do so and is pursuing plans anyway - but because of the collective nature of the matter is seeking additional opportunities for exchange. The film team therefore specifically asks those women and feminists who are interested in this project and have not yet been contacted to make use of this time slot. The film team is also specifically addressing those who will be in Linz during Ars Electronica and want to take advantage of the opportunity.

What is being offered?
An open time slot on Saturday, Sept. 9, between 1:00 and 5:00 p.m., during which protagonists can be captured on camera.
To start at 13:00 there will be an overview of the STWST film project from a feminist perspective.

How does the participation work?
You come by on Saturday, even after the overview intro at 13:00, specifically between 13:00 and 17:00 and tell us what your connection to STWST is. Many things count, from going out to participating in large-scale projects, feminism and media art anyway. Then you sit down in front of a green screen and are filmed for about half a minute while looking into the camera or somewhere else. That's it.

We look forward to seeing you.

The core of the film crew present at STWST48x9 consists of:
Claudia Dworschak, Tanja Brandmayr, Ina Fischer, Franziska Thurner.
